Booking Conditions - Gîtes
Gîtes
are available from Saturday to Saturday, from 14.00pm on day of arrival, and are
to be vacated on the day of departure by 10.00am.
Gîtes and Terrace area, including BBQ, are to be left in the condition
in which they were found on the day of arrival.
All bookings made will require a 20% deposit of the total cost
which is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of the arrival
date. Please read our full cancellation policy below.
Full payment is to be received within 8 weeks of the arrival date.
A letter will be sent confirming the above and requesting full payment. If payment
is not received within 6 weeks of arrival and no communication has been received,
we will take this to mean that the Guest is cancelling the holiday. Payments can
be made by Cheque, Credit Card and Travellers Cheques, (Euros only), payable to
Camping la Plage. Cash accepted by prior arrangement.
Security Deposit - Gîtes
A deposit of 300 Euros is to be paid along with the final payment for the holiday.
This is refundable and is paid only as security for damage that may be caused
by the Guest or members of the Guest's party. The deposit is refundable within
7 days of departure.
The Guest shall not be responsible for 'fair wear and tear', nor shall they
be responsible for the breakdown of any equipment within the Gîte, nor for anything
they could not reasonably have prevented or foreseen.
The Guest's liability for damage is not limited just to the amount of the deposit.
Booking Conditions - Camping
All bookings made will require a 30% deposit of the total cost which is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of the arrival date.
Payments can be made by Cheque, Credit Card and Travellers Cheques (Euros only) payable to Camping la Plage, or Cash.
Cancellation Policy
If the Guest cancels after paying the deposit 8 weeks or more before
the arrival date, the deposit shall be forfeit. The Guest shall bear no further
liability even if the Owner fails to let the property for the period in question.
If the Guest cancels within 6 weeks of the arrival date, the Owner
shall endeavour to secure another let for the period confirmed. In the event that
the Owner is unsuccessful, then 80% of the full payment shall be forfeit. In the
event that the Owner is successful, he shall return the full payment, less the
deposit, to the Guest.
If the Guest cancels within 2 weeks of the arrival date, he shall
forfeit all monies paid or owed for the booking regardless of whether or not the
Owner manages to re-let the property.
Guests are reminded that most holiday insurance companies will
cover the FULL COST of a holiday in the event of unavoidable cancellation. We
strongly recommend Guests take out such a policy.
Cancellation is deemed to have occurred on receipt of communication
by the Owner from the Guest, (or his representative), by telephone, e-mail or
post.
A Guest may retract a cancellation provided the Owner has not already
let, or agreed to let, the property for the time in question. If a Guest cancels
a second time for the same booking, the full payment shall be forfeit.
